Food Festivals

August

Breadfruit Festival - (1 day event) in Bath, St. Thomas Parish. This is a really nice local cultural event where they show you what you can do with breadfruit. They roast it on natural coal fires and then later you can fry it. They serve it with fish, stew, chicken or pork. Bath is well known for the mineral spa, so why not a combination of the two! When you go home you feel as if you are re-born again. This event start at 12.00 and ends in the evening with a sound system. There is no entrance fee.

November

Fish festival, Manchioneal, (1 day event) Portland. Manchioneal is famous because it is the #1 fishing community in Portland Parish. There is in the early evening’ a live concert organised with local talent what is really nice to see and hear. Manchioneal is close to the beautiful (not spoiled) natural waterfalls named Reach Falls. This event starts at 12.00 till in the evening hours. There is a entrance fee for the fish festival and show.
